Setting Small Goals
Don't just watch time go by and expect results. When it's time to put in the work, make sure you're actually putting in the work!
Setting small goals is crucial to achieving a bigger goal. Every big goal feels more simple when we break them into smaller chunks (See what I did there?)
We often set time frames to achieve a task; however, some tasks are worth setting small goals for instead.

Setting small goals
Say you're at the gym, and you want to be there for 1.5 hours. One day, you do 7 exercises for 3 sets each, and another day, you do 4 exercises for 2 sets each. You stayed in there for 1.5 hours each day, so that's okay, right?
Wrong.
If you want to make significant progress, you need to ensure that you are actually making progress. That's the key to consistency.
Set a small goal for what to achieve during that time period.
If you plan to be at the gym for 1.5 hours, have a plan for which exercises you want to do and how many sets and reps there are for each. Don't just go in and watch time fly by.
You're much more productive and consistent when you have small tasks to achieve each time you show up.
Some similar examples:
Reading books --> Nb of pages
Cold calling --> Nb of calls
Tweeting --> Nb of replies
Editing --> Nb of edits
Intensity
When the challenge starts to feel too easy, turn up the intensity! That's how you're going to reach your goals exponentially faster! You can't expect someone to get results at the gym if they keep the same weight for a year.
When starting a business, set weekly sales targets
For NFT projects, set weekly community member targets.
Set a daily Twitter follower target.
And when the time comes, turn that goal up!
Consistency is key, but it's not enough if you're not tracking results.
Only you know your limits. Do all you can to get there (don’t overdo yourself, though), and push beyond it when the time is right.
That’s how you get 1% better every day.
By doing repetitive tasks again and again, but better each time.
To Recap
Sometimes, we have to set goals within a timeframe. These are measurable goals where progress adds up over time.
And when it gets too easy, turn up the intensity. That's how you grow exponentially.
Stop letting time fly and be proactive about it!
